*yawn* Selling unlocked phones is a game-changer? It will be very exciting to take that GSM phone and use it on the same crappy AT&T network, or the even worse T-Mobile network.

Then there’s the readily ignored issue that usability of the Android sucks in comparison to the iPhone.

No, the game changer would be if they released a data only product bypassing traditional voice calls in favor of voip that was actually good enough to get traction. I later said I thought that was unlikely, at least this time around.

Perhaps the fabled Apple Tablet will do it.
