Final 2002 Rankings

Another year past. It is so exciting. In a moment, I will reveal the Top Ten of 2002. But first, the usual set of statistics I send out each year. In the year 2002:

• I received 10570 personal emails. (Down 6% from last year)
• On average that is 881 messages per month, or 29 messages per day.
• That mail came from 204 different email addresses. (Up 21% from last year!)
• The top ten accounted for 81% of the email. (Same as last year)
• 18 addresses made the monthly top tens this year. (Up from 16 last year)
• The lowest ranked monthly top ten winner on the annual list was ginnyz@optonline.net (Ginny Davis) who came in tied for #22 for the year.
• The highest ranked address that never made the monthly lists in 2002 was allienchad@msn.com (Lesley Anderson) who came in at #17 for the year.
