adoption process started! This is good! :-) :-)
Yup, we met the lawyer the first time last month. He drew up the needed papers… including the ones Amy’s biological father needed to sign before we did anything else. He did so last week, so yesterday we signed all the rest of the papers to kick things off. They get submitted to a judge Friday. Then more things happen… but the process from here should take 7-10 weeks assuming nothing unexpected comes up.
