Of course, a minute later Alex sat on Roscoe’s head. Roscoe didn’t like that as much.

still learning!
A couple days ago he tried to ride Roscoe. Some learning ends in tears. Which is a good thing to learn in and of itself.

Pretty amazing how much abuse pets will gladly accept from children, isn’t it?

Indeed. We didn’t expect Roscoe to be this good. But he is incredibly patient with Alex. But he does have his limits.
And Alex has to learn that he is getting big enough that he could actually hurt Roscoe too. So all in all, we still have to watch them closely. But they are pretty good together. Most of the time.
